How many times a day do you leave your vehicle unattended and leave the keys in the ignition. The Police have recently recovered numerous 4 x 4 vehicles which when stolen had been left with the keys in the ignition. The determined thief may still take your vehicle if they really want it but why make it easy for them.
We now have access to equipment which we can install in your vehicle to inform you if the vehicle is interfered with. We can install Trim Trac Tracking devices to your vehicle and the vehicle movement can be sensed and either an email or SMS text message sent to you to inform you of the vehicles movement. the location of your vehicle can be tracked using the free2track web site. The unit comes with a one off payment for purchase and a pay as you go sim card. The unit can be battery powered or run from the vehicle electrical system with a battery back up. Property
Is your property identifiable, would you be able to positively identify your stolen pressure washer, strimmer, chain saw compressor etc. to the Police if it was found. The thieves may have removed the serial no. Photograph it, mark it, record it. If you are a member of Farmwatch as part of your subscription package we can carry out these simple tasks, we can attend and photograph your property and mark it or assist you to do so. We can then provide you with a copy of the data disc with the photographs and keep an archived copy for you. The Police are constantly recovering property which cannot be positively identified. Even if you have been paid out by your insurance company, they may wish to claim the items in order to offset their costs and hopefully save all of our premiums going up. Permanent marking makes the items less attractive to the criminal.

We can use Alpha dot to mark your property. An Alpha dot kit will cost from £24.00 (including VAT) this includes lifetime registration on a Police data link database and a generous supply of security labels and enough Alpha dots to mark around 40 items. Alpha dot can be used on any non porous surface - is almost invisible but identifies your property by a unique reference number contained within a dot.
Animals
We are regularly receiving calls from the Police regarding straying animals, Cattle sheep, horses and pigs. Field security has and will remain a problem for some as members of the public are not always sensible in the use of gates. Are your animals identifiable. Do we know where you keep them. It would be useful to us and the police if you made us aware of the general areas in which you keep your animals. When we are contacted by the police reporting animals straying on the highway would have a good idea who to ring when we are trying to establish ownership of stray animals. Time is of the essence under these circumstances as the damage and injuries caused when animals are struck by a vehicle can be horrendous.
