Norfolk was one of the first counties to set up a Farmwatch. It was originally started in West Norfolk and was overseen by the Police.
In 1992 it was taken on by Tony Bone with sponsorship from the NFU. In 2004 Tony Bone, along with Danny Cracknell, set up the company Farmwatch Limited and took over the activities of the original Farmwatch, adding extra services to the companies profile. Tony Bone has now retired from Farmwatch Limited in February 2017.
